Here's my domain template for 'Shock' which I define as a combination of
surprise and anger:

3.4.2.1.7 Shock
Use this domain for words related to feeling shocked--feeling both surprised
and angry when something very bad suddenly happens or when someone does
something very bad.
I feel <shocked by> something. = Sometimes a person thinks something like
this: "Something very bad has happened. I did not think this could happen. I
do not know what to think. I do not know what to do." Because of this, this
person feels something very bad. I feel like this.

(1) What words refer to feeling shocked? be shocked, feel shocked,
(2) What words refer to the feeling of shock? shock, horror, outrage,
(3) What words describe someone who feels shocked? shocked, deeply shocked,
stunned, shaken, dazed, speechless, horrified, aghast, mortified, outraged,
scandalized
(4) What words refer to being very shocked or shocked for a long time? be
in a state of shock, traumatized, shattered
(5) What words refer to causing someone to feel shocked? shock, come as a
shock, horrify, stun, shake, knock someone for a loop, drop a bombshell,
outrage, rock, scandalize, traumatize,
(6) What words refer to something that causes someone to feel shocked?
shock (n), shocker, blow, bolt from the blue, bombshell, rude awakening,

Subject: [Lexicog] I need a negative word for amazed

I'm looking for a synonym for 'amazed' but it needs to have strong
negative connotations. With 'amazed' I think of "wow, that's
impressive". I need a word that continues to carry the idea of 'wow' or
'significant surprise' but has coupled with it the concepts of 'anger'
and possibly a 'deep frustration'

I'll tell you why in a little bit; but first I'd like some help if at
all possible.

Thanks.
