In Carrier the usual term for Christmas is:
(Sizi) whuzdli dzin "The day (Jesus) was born".
An old (Catholic) missionary source also gives a
term for Christmas Eve: 'ulhdzis ts'uwhunih "the night
one stays awake", but I don't think I've ever
heard this used.
