[Lexicog] age-related pronunciation differences

Dude,

What's the "in" word among youngsters in California now? "Rad" is probably
old people's speak?
"Cool" is not "cool" any more, unless pronounced "kyewl." "Cool" is probably
as widespread as
"Amen" and "Coca-Cola". I have heard it among subsaharan Africans, in
Israel, and in my home
country Germany where it is pronounced and even written "kuhl" which always
makes me laugh.
