Here is a solution to the problem I have had with Shoebox treating sound
(.WAV) filenames ending in a number as being a filename with a subscript
using that number. The solution comes from Lexicography List member Bernis
Eliason Ingvaldson who is happy for her solution to be posted on the list. I
will also post the updated MDFDict2.cct file in the Files section of the
Lex. List website (address at bottom of each posted message).

Wayne,
I added the following change to your mdfdict2.cct which I am returning to
you.
c any number followed by a period indicates this is not a homonym number
any(number) any(number) any(number) '.' > dup
any(number) any(number) '.' > dup
any(number) '.' > dup
***** to the lines preceeding
any(number) > if(vhm) '|hm{' dup '}' else dup endif
Thanks for sending the MS Word template too.
Bernis
