Oxford and I think Longman are common on the streets of Russia and of
Azerbaijan where I used to work. Dictionaries, of all languages under
the sun, are big business in that part of the world. But I accept that
in practice beginners are more likely to use Russian-English or (the
until a very recent publication very unsatisfactory) Azerbaijani-English
dictionaries.
