[Lexicog] Diminutive suffixes (endearing or pejorative)

Remembering the discussion we had on -/ling /and other diminutives:

My sister heard recently, over the radio in Kentucky USA, the comment 
that, at the time when Abraham offers Isaac as a sacrifice, Isaac is not 
a little boy: “he’s a strapling, young teen-ager.”

Pretty good, that!
