There is quite a good list of lexicography literature at Amazon.com - this
time I'll give you the link!

My favorite book on that list is Practical Lexicography : Principles and
Methods of Dictionary-Making by Bo Svensen, but I've only seen one copy for
sale in the years I've searched for my own copy - and they wanted $150 for
it.

You'll have no problem getting it on interlibrary loan if your local library
doesn't have it, that's the only way I was able to read it.
