Indeed.  And why are they tagged as above, rather than (say):

 > John treated Mary with antibiotics = [[Agent]] treated
 >      [[Patient]]  with [[Substance]]
 > John treated the woodwork with creosote = [[Worker]] treated
 >      [[Material]] with [[Preservative]]

I suppose there's an ontology behind this, but to this outside observer 
it seems completely arbitrary.
