You have doubtless all hears about the mother who would always read aloud to
her son

from a very preachy book before she sent her son upstairs to bed.  When he
objected

one night she sent him to bed early.  Realizing that her son had gotten way
with his effort 

to avoid the book, she took the book upstairs to her son's bedroom to read
to him there.

When he saw her, he exclaimed, "What did you bring that book I did not want
to be read 

to out of up for?
