Dear all,
Although I agree with Ron's advice about schema/scripting, at the risk of
grossly oversimplifying this relationship, it occurs to me we might
characterize the relationship between the lexemes in terms of the TEAR
acronym I once learned in a translation principles class - Thing, Event,
Attribute, Relator.
I would think of slip as an "event", and slippery as an "attribute".
