IJL special issue on bilingual learners’ dictionaries: Call for Papers


Next year the International Journal of Lexicography will devote a special issue to Bilingual Learners’ Dictionaries (BLDs; Volume 29, Issue 3), consisting of invited and selected papers. Contributions related to bilingual pedagogical lexicography for any language pair are welcome. Topics include, but are not limited to, differences between BLDs and general bilingual or monolingual learners’ dictionaries, the importance of productive functions (besides reception purposes), different learner levels, (parallel) corpus-reliance, digital applications and integration with language learning solutions. The submission deadline for 500-word abstracts is 15 May, notice of acceptance 31 July 2015. Please contact us if you have any queries.
