On VP/V'/V constituents, there is a long discussion of morphological
evidence for different types of V-constituents in Wari' (Chapakuran,
Amazonian - first grammar of any language of this family) in a recent
descriptive grammar from Routledge. Derivational processes can target
V+object, V+clitic inflection, V+preverbal, apparently COMP-like material,
and a few other types. The discussion is relatively atheoretical and it is
possible that the data could be interpreted differently. But I think that
the facts are fascinating and important.
