CSLI Publications is pleased to announce that the "Instructor's
Manual" for "Syntactic Theory: A Formal Introduction" by Ivan A. Sag
and Thomas Wasow is now available on line at
http://hpsg.stanford.edu/book/index.html

This site contains chapter-by-chapter lecture notes and downloadable
transparencies to go with the lectures. These are available in both
.ps and .pdf formats. In addition, there are sample solutions to all
the problems in the text.  For obvious reasons, the solutions are
password protected, so if you are teaching a class using the textbook and
would like access to the solutions to the homework problems, please
send email to wasow at csli.stanford.edu or sag at csli.stanford.edu.

Work on the solutions is ongoing; the authors would appreciatively
accept comments and suggestions.
