Please find below an ad for a tenure track position in computational
linguistics at the University of Arizona.

Applications are invited for a tenure-track faculty position at the
rank of Assistant Professor, in the Departments of Linguistics and
Computer Science beginning employment August, 2003. Candidates must
hold a doctorate in linguistics, computer science or related field,
have a commitment to excellence in teaching, and a demonstrated strong
potential for excellence in research. Primary consideration will be
given to specialists in human language technology, including speech
technology, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence.
The tenure home will be the Department of Linguistics, but part of the
successful applicant's responsibility will be to the Department of
Computer Science. In the Department of Linguistics, he or she will be
expected to contribute to the development of a Professional Master of
Science degree program in Human Language Technology.
