LFG08 and LFG09

LFG08 will be held in Sydney in conjunction with the Australian 
Linguistic Institute in July 2008. Following the Constitution of ILFGA, 
LFG09 thus should be held in Europe, Africa or the Middle East.

The Executive Committee invites bids for hosting LFG09.
Bids can be presented at the Business Meeting at LFG07 this summer in 
Stanford, but please inform the Executive Committee if you intend to bid 
for the conference by sending an e-mail to: ilfga at csli.stanford.edu.

If you are unable to participate in LFG08, we can arrange for someone 
else to present your bid.
