The following
are for those who want to attend LFG2012 in Bali:



 



1. Early bird registration




The early-bird registration has been
open for a while, as part of the one-stop on-line sytem, together with the
12-ICAL (International Conference on Austronesian linguistics), organised by
the ANU; see http://chl.anu.edu.au/linguistics/projects/ical-lfg/registration.php.



 



The deadline of the early bird registration for LFG and ICAL
is the same, namely this weekend (7 April 2012)!



 



The on-line system was setup in June last year when we didn't
know much about the timeline of LFG12, and it appears that it cannot be changed
at this stage. We encourage you to register as soon as possible.



 



2.Programs 



 



We will post
the program soon.  



 



On 27 June 2012
(i.e. the day before the start of LFG2012), we will have a bush walk around
Sanur area, and/or  tour programs. These are the same programs organised
for 12-ICAL (but on a different day); check the following link for more information: http://email.eva.mpg.de/~gil/12ICAL/tours_events.html.



 



3. Conference Venue and Accommodation.



The conference will be held at Udayana University
in Denpasar (http://chl.anu.edu.au/linguistics/projects/ical-lfg/lfg/venue.php;
the same venue for 12-ICAL. 



 



We have received queries about accommodation;
please check this for information http://email.eva.mpg.de/~gil/12ICAL/accommodation.html.  We recommend that you stay in Sanur area if
you want to enjoy your stay in Bali. We will provide shuttle buses to pick up
participants from Sanur. We need a list of people who stay in Sanur for this,
so let us know if you stay in Sanur and want to be included in the list.
