semantic roles for LFG grammar engineering

Dear Adam,

you should definitely take a look at the following work of Miriam Butt

"The Development of Linking Theory in LFG"

It is available at the publications section of her web page:
http://ling.uni-konstanz.de/pages/home/butt/

It is an extensive handout which was put together for a talk of Miriam
within a Workshop on Lexical Semantics and Constraint-Based Theories,
organized by me at ESSLLI99, Utrecht (the same one which Stefan was
referring to in an earlier message). It provides a fantastic overview of
the development of LFG's linking theory.

Best regards,
Valia
