Meeting Description:
The International Conference on Greek Linguistics is a biennial meeting on
the study
and analysis of Greek (Ancient, Medieval and Modern), placing particular
emphasis on
the later stages of the language. ICGL12 will take place at the
Seminarzentrum of
the FU (Otto-von-Simson-Str. 26, 14195 Berlin, Germany) from 16-19
September 2015.

Call for Papers:
Papers in all areas of linguistic analysis focusing on any period in the
history of
the Greek language are welcome. The conference will also host a small
number of
thematic workshops (up to six) and a poster session.
A. Abstract submission for oral or written presentations
Abstracts for oral presentations (20’ for the paper and 10’ for
discussion) or
posters (written presentations) on any aspect of the Greek language are
invited.
Abstracts should be 300-400 words long (exclusive of references) and
should be
submitted in Word (.doc, .docx or .rtf format) through EasyChair by
January 31,
2015. Notifications of acceptance/rejection will be communicated by
February 28,
2015.
Please also include the following information at the bottom of the abstract:
1. Name(s) of author(s)
2. Title
3. Affiliation
4. Area of linguistics (e.g. phonology, morphology, syntax, historical
linguistics,
etc.)
5. Oral presentation or poster
Each author may maximally submit two abstracts: Either one single-authored
and one
co-authored or two co-authored abstracts.
B. Abstract submission for thematic workshops
Workshop proposals on any research area in Greek linguistics are welcome.
Abstracts
of 400-500 words (exclusive of references) in Word (.doc, .docx or .rtf
format)
should be submitted through EasyChair (see below) by December 31, 2014.
Notifications of acceptance/rejection will be communicated by January 31,
2015.
