I am in the process of putting together a proposal for an undergraduate
course
on English as an international language (it would be offered in a European
setting).  I am looking for a good critical reader that discusses English
around the world from sociolinguistic perspectives. I also intend to use
journal articles but a single text would be nice.  Does anyone have
suggestions?
