Language policy in and around Afghanistan

Members of this list may be interested to know that a workshop on
"Languages and Language Policy in and around Afghanistan" was held last
weekend at the University of Pennsylvania, sponsored by the Pedagogical
Materials Project of the South Asia Language Resource Center.

A number of formal and informal presentations were made at that panel, and
a page with resources from that meeting is available at

This page will be updated as we get fuller contributions from the
participants, and posted in html format in links to this page. Currently
we have some bibliographies contributed by participants, but hope to have
more to add to this page very soon.
