Request for references on Implementation

A good place to find some potentialreferences to examples of implementation
successes and failures might be Chapter 7 (Acquisition Planning) in Robert
Cooper's 1989 volume, "Language Planning and Social Change" (CUP).

A couple of other more specific studies that come to mind are:

Aleong, Stanley, Michel Chretien and André Martin. 1981. Sociolinguistic
processes governing the implementation of standard automotive terminology
in Quebec French, AILA 81 Proceedings I Sections and Workshops, Bengt
Sigurd, Jan Svartvik, eds. pp. 327-328. Lund, Sweden: AILA.

Alloni-Fainberg, Yafa. 1974. Official Hebrew terms for parts of the car: A
study of knowledge, usage and attitudes, In Fishman, Joshua A. 1974.
Language planning and language planning research: The state of the art.
493-517.

I hope that is the correct Fishman volume and also find it curious that
both examples I've found on the implementation of corpus planning relate to
the development of neologisms / terminology for automotive terms!

None of these are current but they might be a place to start...
