For those interested, I recently posted an article by Charles A.
Perfetti and Ying Liu to my blog. They do research on differences in
brain activity when reading different languages (German, Korean,
Chinese, and English).

It wasn't what I was looking for which was an easy-to-read analysis of
differences between English and Chinese using eye tracking, as opposed
to brain activity, but it is an interesting paper nonetheless.
