04.11 / 13:52 Expedient to found language courses for Bolashak technical
discipline claimants
ASTANA. November 4. KAZINFORM.
/Nazym Shakhanova/
At today's session of the Republican commission for training abroad it has
been offered to direct pending budget disbursements for creating
additional language courses, destined for the Bolashak scholarship
technical discipline claimants. The program is purposed to prepare highly
skilled personnel for the successful realization of economic
diversification policy. Unfortunately, a great many of students who study
technical disciplines and pretend to Bolashak fellowship do not know
foreign languages, Vice Minister of Economics and Budget Planning of
Kazakhstan Batyrkhan Isayev said. Therefore it is expedient to infuse
undisbursed funds into the foundation of additional language courses on
the ground of home universities.
The Republican Budget foresees means for 3 000 Kazakhstan students' abroad
training. Though for a score of reasons this year the number of the
international scholarship winners will be less. To date only 1522
claimants have obtained fellowship. The documents of more than one
thousand applicants are under consideration. 64 students have been
studying abroad since the prior years, the Education and Science Minister
of Kazakhstan Byrganym Aitimova uttered.
