in its Faculty of Language and Literature, Humanities, Arts and Education
within its Research Unit LCMI
Coordinator (M/F)
for the needs of the Unit¹s Research and the MA multi-LEARN
(ref. FLSHASE/F3-080017)
Full time position (40 hours per week)

LCMI is the Research Unit for Sociocultural Research on Learning and
Development. The research area encompasses learning and development and in
early childhood, at school, in everyday life, at the work place and in
higher education. LCMI aims at enhancing scientific and applied knowledge
from a socio-cultural and cultural-historical perspective.
The academic Master programme "Learning and Development in Multilingual and
Multicultural Contexts" (MA multi-LEARN) has a dynamic vision of learning
and its development and promotes research around 4 axes: Learning, Language
and Literacies (LLL) media, interaction and design (MID) - activity and
development (AD) - discourse, identities et policies (DIP).
Activities:
* Coordinate, follow-up and assist the development and evaluation of the
research activities of the unit, as well as for the MA multi-LEARN.
* By appropriate internal and external communication, promote and support
the research activities and training in research.
* Develop scientific co-operation and networking at international level.
Profile:
* A Master Degree (or equivalent) in related fields of research of the Unit
and the study programme.
* Professional experience in managing interdisciplinary research, in
preparing and monitoring research projects and study programmes, and in
drafting activity reports.
* Experience in international co-operation.
* As the candidate has to integrate a multilingual research team and because
she/ he will be in regular contact with an international scientific/student
community, she/he must have an excellent command of the official languages
of the University (English, French, and German) both written and spoken.
Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
* Master all common IT tools (MAC and Windows environments) and be able to
manage and dynamically implement ICT learning platforms.
