Kazakh Government held sitting on further improvement of state language policy

ASTANA. November 16. KAZINFORM – A sitting of the commission for
further improvement of state language policy chaired by the Vice Prime
Minister Umirzak Shukeyev has taken place today in Ukimet Uyi (House
of Government); Kazinform refers to the Premier's press service.The
participants discussed a draft law On state language of the Republic
of Kazakhstan, issues of the creation of an agency for languages
within the framework of the administrative reform and opening of a new
TV channel in the state language.
U. Shukeyev ordered the Committee for Languages to present information
of the application of funds allocated to the development of the state
language.
