"Ten Years of Proposition 227: Connecting Research, Policy, and
Practice," sponsored by the Institute for Language and Education
Policy (ILEP).

The Institute for Language and Education Policy is pleased to bring
you this conference in partnership with California State University,
San Marcos and its College of Education, and the San Diego County
Office of Education.

The conference will bring together educators and advocates from all
levels, review the impact of California's anti-bilingual initiative 10
years later, and address currents needs for policy and practice in
serving English Learners. Keynotes include Stephen Krashen, James
Crawford, Terrence Wiley, and Rachel Moran.
