If you are a foreign company doing business in the former Soviet
republic of Kazakhstan, you might want to start taking some Kazakh
lessons.



U.S. oil group Chevron (CVX.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz),
developing Kazakhstan's biggest oil deposit, said on Friday it had
received a note from the authorities accusing it of neglecting Kazakh
as a language of business communication.
