PU to discuss language studies

LAHORE: The Punjab University (PU) has formed a committee to thrash
out issues regarding teaching of various languages, especially
English. According to a press release, the committee would submit its
recommendations to the VC to make a uniform policy. Prof Shaista
argued that if some departments wanted to offer short English language
courses, it should be in collaboration with the English Department.
