Foreign language push proves popular
Efforts to promote foreign languages in schools are proving popular
with teachers - but more needs to be done to persuade students to take
them at GCSE.
These are the findings of a new report by Cambridge University
experts, who believe the system needs "greater coherence" to succeed
in promoting other languages among youngsters.
