Researchers from the Center for Applied Linguistics have been working
with others in developing recommendations for using stimulus funds to
improve education for English language learners in US public education.

The recommendations (see attachments) are being released today (March
19, 2009).

We hope they will be widely distributed and will provide some guidance
to policy makers in planning these new funds.

Please share with others.

Sincerely,
