Specialized Master in Multilingual Text Analysis
Master of Arts in Multilingual Text Anaylsis
The University of Zurich offers an innovative Specialized Master combining
linguistics in English, German and the Romance languages with methods and
techniques from computational linguistics.
The Specialized Master in Multilingual Text Analysis has been designed for
students who want to complement their interest in linguistics by obtaining
a qualification in language technology. It is also suitable for students of
computational linguistics who want to gain a multilingual perspective.
Languages of instruction are English, German and French.
Selected topics:
- Contrastive studies across languages and varieties
- Alignment and annotation of parallel corpora
- Machine translation
- Cross-language information retrieval
- Language technology for translation science
- Multilingual databases
- Multilingual access to the media
