Foreign language instruction handicaps the San

The Southern Africa San Education Forum (SASEF) says members of
indigenous San minorities are handicapped in their quest for
socio-economic development due to the fact that their children are
educated through the medium of languages of dominant groups.

According to SASEF-Namibia Information and Publicity Officer, /Awebahe
//Ho√ęseb, foreign languages are imposed on San children as medium of
instruction and as language subjects in the formal curricula of
education systems of the countries where they are domiciled.
