Here in Toronto, we offer an MA and PhD in Applied Linguistics at York
University (as part of the Graduate Programme in Linguistics and Applied
Linguistics) and we have a few people here (myself, Ian Martin and Brian
Morgan) who supervise theses/dissertations on Language Policy - also
starting next year, I will be teaching a graduate course on Language
Policy and we have a few other related graduate courses we try to offer.
Currently, I'm supervising two PhD students who are doing their research
in the area of Language Policy and I have supervised several MA final
research papers in this area as have my two other colleagues who also
work in in this area. I have provided a link to the program below:

The University of Aberdeen and the University of Glasgow are good examples to follow.

There are several strong doctoral programs in which one could carve out a niche in LPP by working with a supervisor who specializes in this area (even when the PhD program has a broader focus). Here are a few off the top of my head in alpha order, with names of programs and some people who specialize in LPP:

There were no courses available to take, as such, I stopped and I now would continue in a heart beat if I find another university with LLP Doctoral program. Thanks for discussing this topic.
