ILI is pleased to announce that it has opened up a new site called ILI
Digital Store www.ilinative.org/jml/<http://e2ma.net/go/6952928173/208456268/219490881/28751/goto:http://www.ilinative.org/jml/>,
where
you can find video presentations from ILI Symposium Series 2010, *Native
Language Terminology Development*. Our goal is to make all future Symposium
presentations available through this new site.
The First Annual Indigenous Language Institute Symposium Series (ILISS) was
held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October
11-12, 2010. The two-day conference convened community language experts,
linguists, translators, tribal policy makers, and IT terminologists with the
goal of sharing information on how new words are created and used. Videos of
the presentations by experts in Language and Technology contain useful
information for indigenous language and culture revitalization efforts. Seven
60 minute videos available for $7.00 each.
Check out the *Free Videos *section for presentations by Ernie Stevens, Jr.,
Chairman of NIGA and Monique Garcia, Miss Indian New Mexico 2010.
