WebLayers Announces Additional Language Support
CAMBRIDGE, MA, Oct 11, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- WebLayers today
announced the introduction of additional governance functionality for
its software governance platform. This will include expanded support
for critical languages in its automated governance solution.
Expanded language support includes PL/I, C, C++, as well as the
ability for easy plug-in support for a variety of additional languages
for specific customer implementations. The expanded support will allow
customers to more easily process languages and write policies against
them.
New technology has been added that will expand and analyze mainframe
applications while mapping policy violations back to the original
components. WebLayers is the first governance solution in the industry
to support this type of functionality for mainframe customers. This
means that customers will not have to reference error messages against
expanded applications, for example, instead they can immediately
identify exactly where a software problem exists.
WebLayers is also introducing governance policies for Department of
Defense STIG requirements, federal enterprise architecture-based SOA
models as well as solutions for ensuring FISMA compliance and a
multitude of other governance needs for the federal government.
"With this additional integration support and functionality, we are
able to further service the increasingly-wide range of software
development needs of our customers," says John Favazza, Vice President
of Research and Development.
About WebLayers WebLayers provides the industry's most comprehensive
