Submission of proposals for the 2012 La Cosecha Dual Language Conference is
May 18, 2012. The event will be held November 7 - 10, 2012, at the Santa Fe
Convention Center and La Fonda Hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico. La Cosecha
2012 Conference Presentations will align with the seven Strands of the
Guiding Principles for Dual Language Education document. If interested,
please complete your submission online at
http://dlenm.org/lacosecha/proposals/.
Deadline for submissions is May 18, 2012. Selected proposals will receive
notification of proposal status via e-mail by June 16, 2012. If you have
any questions or need additional information, please email David Rogers at
david at dlenm.org

Last year, La Cosecha brought together over 1,400 attendees with over 130

ERSC Seminar Series : Diverse Teachers for Diverse Learners - Research and
Perspectives
Bilingualism and Teacher Diversity in Schooling
You are invited to attend the fourth seminar in the series to be held in
The MOSAIC Centre for Research on Multilingualism, School of Education,
University of Birmingham on 11 June 2012.
This seminar will discuss empirical work considering linguistic and
cultural capital of diverse teachers, discrimination experienced and ways
in which teachers engage with diversity.
