Meeting Description:
Language and Law is a special session held at MCC 2013 (Meaning, Context and Cognition conference) in University Lodz, Poland, 11-13 April 2013.
The plenary speakers for the session are Dennis Kurzon (University of Haifa, Israel) and Jan Enberg (Aarhus University).
The session is organised by Iwona Witczak-Plisiecka and Stanislaw Gozdz-Roszkowski.
Call for Papers:
We invite papers which explore the interface of language and law, both in theoretical and applied perspectives, with focus on qualitative and quantitive data.
Please email your proposal to: mcc at uni.lodz.pl with a copy to Iwona Witczak-Plisiecka (iw.plisiecka at gmail.com or wipiw at uni.lodz.pl) Abstracts should not be longer than 300 words. Please include your name, affiliation and email address. Abstracts will be double-blind peer-reviewed and should include sufficient details to allow reviewers to judge the scientific merits of the work. Paper presentations will be allowed 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes for discussion. Presentations will be in English. Notification of acceptance will be sent by 15 January 2013.
