There's a new push for Australia to formulate a national languages policy.
Community Languages Australia, which represents after-hours community
language schools, is is calling for the introduction of a languages
policy at the federal level.
The executive Director of Community Languages Australia is Stefan Romaniw.
He has told Nikki Canning, the last time Australia had a National
Languages Policy endorsed by the federal Government was in 1987.
