Re: Language Policy and Points
The terminology has already been changed. We refer to the languages
listed as recruitment languages. We stopped using CNL and SCNL in
September. This has no effect on the candidates.
As to a review of which languages and how many bonus points, that
process is/has been ongoing and the languages and points may change at
any time. As before, we will likely grandfather any candidates who
proceded on the basis of a past policy. The review process cannot be
"finalized" since our selection and hiring processes must be
responsive to service needs and our budget. And "service needs" often
depend on events not under our control.
