Meeting of the Language Policy Board

On Tuesday, 16 October 2012, was held the meeting of the Language
Policy Board to discuss the resignation of the Language Commissioner,
as well as the Commission for the election of new Commissioner.

With the proposal of the Prime Minister's Adviser / Director of the
Office of Community Affairs, who has been the Chairman of the
Commission for the election of language Commissioner, Board members
unanimously approved the proposal that the above composition of the
Commission to remain the same.

Besim Kajtazi, Director of Legal Office informed the members that the
Cabinet of the Prime Minister based on the Law and Regulation, took
the decision to appoint Mr. Srdjan Popović as Acting Language
Commissioner, in order to avoid institutional vacuum.
