Jun 01, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa's policy manifesto
Mahinda Chintana has been translated into Chinese language, government
sources said.

The Chinese translation of Mahinda Chintana was launched at a function
attended by Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao at the Great Hall of China
during President's recent visit to that country.

The book was translated by a Chinese university professor, under the
guidance of Sri Lanka ambassador of China Ranjith Uyangoda, government
sources said.

Mahinda Chintana policy manifesto which was originally issued for the 2005
November Presidential election has already been published in Sri Lanka's
main languages Sinhala, Tamil and English.

It outlines the nationalist economic policies of the President Mahinda
Rajapaksa under which Sri Lanka is prospering now after the defeat of the
terrorism.
