This conference invites discussions regarding theoretical studies, applicational cases, and relevant works-in-progress on the key issues in legal translation and court interpreting. We promote research of, and welcome participation from, researchers of different cultural and language backgrounds, and from different disciplines and across jurisdictions.

Selected peer-reviewed papers (5000-8000 words) will be invited for publication in two special issues in International Journal of Law, Language & Discourse and International Journal for the Semiotics of Law, and an edited volume.

Abstract submission: 31 December 2013 (within 300 words) 
Notification of acceptance: 31 January 2014
Early bird registration: 1-28 February 2014
Regular registration: 1-31 March 2014
Full paper (6 pages) submission (optional): 30 April 2014
Acceptance of full paper: 31 May 2014
