Mr Moomoo thanked the MP for working on renewing a law on the state
official language, noting that "a well-arranged policy on the matter will
indisputably contribute to development and enrichment of the Mongolian
language".
He advised Mr Batchimeg to compare laws and policies of other countries and
to learn from their experiences, "also it is very important to conduct a
proper study into institutions that determine and guard foreign language
policies as well."
Mr Moomoo said that rules of the Mongolian Cyrillic writing should base on
a Mongolian dictionary co-authored by famous Ts.Damdinsuren and B.Osor.
In response, the MP Batchimeg said they are studying the language laws of
other countries as well as functions, structures and status of the
institutions responsible for language policies, and thanked the Prof. for
his precious advice and wished him good health.
