SBI observing official language week

State Bank of India is celebrating the ‘Official Language Week’ to promote
knowledge of Hindi among its staffers.
The bank’s deputy general managers Ravindra Sinha and Nitin Kumar Sharma
formally inaugurated the celebrations here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion they said that as per the official language policy
of the government, employees have to learn Hindi and the bank is working
in that direction. They urgedstaff to learn Hindi.
Chief manager G Azmathulla explained about the various competitions being
conducted by the bank to promote Hindi language. He said competitions in
general awareness, essay writing and letter writing are being organised to
mark the occasion, according to a release.
Assistant general manager G Madhusudan Reddy, assistant manager M
Radhakrishnaiah and others were present.
