Papers










Dear colleagues,

We are very pleased to announce that Suleyman Demirel University (Almaty,
Kazakhstan) has launched a new scholarly journal – SDU Journal of English
Studies (http://www.sdu.edu.kz/sduj/index.php/sdujes/index). It is an
international open access peer-reviewed journal that welcomes submissions
from around the world. Authors are encouraged to submit articles and
research/discussion notes on topics relevant to the academic, occupational,
or otherwise specialized communities. Topics such as the following may be
treated from the perspective of English studies: linguistics, literatures
(including literary theory and criticism), sociolinguistics, needs
assessment, curriculum development and evaluation, materials preparation,
discourse analysis, teaching and testing techniques, the effectiveness of
various approaches to language learning and language teaching, teacher
training and English for Specific Purposes (ESP). The journal also
publishes solicited book reviews. The journal is published biannually (in
January and December) and there are *no* publication fees. Deadline for
submitting articles for the first issue in January 2015 is October 31,
2014.

Submission to this journal proceeds totally online. For submission
guidelines  please see the attached document or the above journal link.

Authors are requested to submit their articles electronically by using the
