*Sofia. *“Generally, we are interested in not allowing influence from
radicals and nationalists, who at the moment are obviously trying to play
on the first violin. Moved by revolutionary feelings, they make decisions,
which are directly violating the rights of big part of Ukraine,” said
Russian Ambassador to Bulgaria, Yuriy Isakov, said in an interview with *FOCUS
News Agency*.
“We cannot stay unconcerned about decisions, such as the rejection of the
state language policy act, which was adopted after a long national dialogue
in Ukraine.
This paper, which was in line with the European Charter for Regional or
Minority Languages, sets the right of the national minorities to use their
mother tongue. It did not concern only the Russians but also the
Bulgarians, Poles, Romanians, Hungarians and others,” the Ambassador said.
