Implementation of the national program on state language and improvement
of language policy for 2014-2020 will cost 427 million soms, the deputy of
the National Commission on State Language under the President of the KR
Almaz Kulmatov said today at the press conference.

According to him, for the first year we need 270 million soms. "It is only
0.27 percent of the country's annual budget. This is small sum. Considering
that half of the year has passed, we will make significant adjustments,"
he said.

He noted that the program will be implemented step-by-step, strict
mechanisms for the document execution monitoring are developed.

Particular attention is paid to the formation of a new Kyrgyz trilingual
generation, speaking state, official and one of the international
languages. Funds will be allocated for publication of books, manuals,
training courses.
