Meeting Description:

The Potsdam Research Institute of Multilingualism (PRIM, http://www.uni-potsdam.de/prim/index.html) is pleased to announce an international workshop on sentence processing in multilingual and other less commonly studied populations. The aim of this interdisciplinary workshop is to bring together researchers who investigate language comprehension or production at the sentence-level in bi- or multilingual speakers, heritage speakers, children or older adults, or in language-impaired populations. The workshop will provide a forum for discussing new research findings, exchanging ideas and expertise, and exploring possible avenues for collaboration. 

Keynote Speakers: Ay?e G�rel (Bogazici University), Silvina Montrul (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)

Location: University of Potsdam, Germany 

2nd Call for Papers:

We invite submissions on a broad range of topics relevant to the experimental study of sentence processing across different populations. Experimental methods may include, but are not limited to, behavioural (e.g. reaction-time), eye-tracking, EEG, brain imaging and offline paradigms.

Authors are invited to submit anonymised abstracts of no more than 500 words (including the title but excluding references; the abstract may contain one figure or table) via email to

prim.workshop at gmail.com

indicating whether their submission should be considered for oral or poster presentation. Oral presentations will be 30 minutes in total (20 minutes for presentation followed by 10 minutes for discussion). Please make sure that authors' full names and affiliations are provided in the body of your email along with the abstract title.

Abstract Submission Deadline: 15 February 2016
Notification of acceptance will be sent by 15 March 2016.

Registration: Please confirm your participation at the workshop by 31 March 2016 sending an email to prim.workshop at gmail.com. Participation fee is 60 EUR (40 EUR for students) and should be paid in cash on site.
