Those of us in the field of language policy, as well as in the associated
fields of sociolinguistics, applied linguistics and TESOL, will be sorry to
learn of the death after a long illness of Christina Bratt Paulston. We are
fortunate that she has left many books and articles in these fields, but
will miss the personal warmth she shared with so many.
