I don't know why I always get these "you-are-a-fraud" alerts whenever I write into the list, but just for the record: I am an actual human being, I am not a fraud, and so forth.

I've seen some announcements come through on this list regarding the language policies of institutions of higher education, so this link might be of interest. The recently launched University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where I work, has set up a Translation Office to support some degree of bilingualism (Spanish-English) within the institution.
